This presentation will explain the history, purpose, and effect of AB 2369 from 2022–led by the bill’s sponsor, FVAP–which amended how attorney’s fees work in DVPA proceedings (Family Code section 6344). Attendees will know when and how to seek attorney’s fees, as either a petitioner or respondent, including in mutual DVRO cases.
