Community Housing Advocate

The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley is seeking a full-time Community Housing Advocate for its housing department. The housing department works to incorporate community lawyering and other race equity tools into its work to provide the best possible housing services to our community.  The housing department will have a strong focus on anti-displacement and will dedicate resources to both direct services work and system change.

Social Worker, Bilingual (Spanish)

The social worker will work in tandem with different LACY attorneys to identify and address the needs and interests of the clients. The position will require the social worker to assess the suitability for placement and visitation of parents, relatives, and foster care providers. The social worker will be expected to meet with clients in various settings, including home and school environments.

Staff Attorney, Health Program

The Health program at Law Foundation is seeking two Health Staff Attorneys to help with various projects within our Economic Rights and Patients’ Rights Programs. The Economic Rights Unit provides legal assistance and representation regarding problems related to public benefits, such as Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medi-Cal, as well as general legal services related to consumer law, employment law, simple estate planning, and more. You will have the opportunity to help clients obtain benefits or prevent the loss of benefits to which they are entitled.
