MIE’s mission is to spark a full and free exchange of ideas on excellence in leadership, management, supervision and fundraising in legal aid organizations through training, consulting, and publishing activities of the highest quality. It is our belief that excellence in program management is essential to sustaining high quality legal work on behalf of low income clients. MIE is a nonprofit organization of more than 300 subscribers that provide legal representation, advice, information and referrals to low income clients in civil cases.
