Description

This webinar will cover litigating a domestic violence restraining order (DVRO) case when the primary allegations are “disturbing the peace” & coercive control. Beginning with an overview of applicable statutory authority and case law, the webinar will provide practical guidance on pleading preparation and courtroom advocacy. Attendees will leave with important insights into navigating the family court system, protecting and preserving your client’s rights, and the unique legal challenges facing domestic violence survivors when litigating a DVRO without a physical injury component.
