Do you want to help more clients get access to public benefits? The CAPI (Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants) is a critical California assistance program that many clients do not know about. CAPI provides cash assistance to low-income immigrants who are disabled and unable to work or to immigrants who are age 65 or older. Unfortunately, many eligible individuals do not know about the program, or run into barriers when attempting to prove their eligibility for CAPI. This webinar will provide an overview of the eligibility rules, including details on assessing a client’s immigration status and eligibility. The webinar will also go over rules that are frequently misunderstood—including sponsor deeming and exceptions to the deeming rules.
