The Project for the Future of Equal Justice is a joint project of the National Legal Aid and Defender Association (NLADA) and the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP). The Project’s mission is to fulfill the promise of “equal justice under law” by ensuring that low-income people have meaningful access to a full range of civil legal assistance. The Project for the Future of Equal Justice works with a broad range of state, community, and national civil legal assistance, civil rights, and community-based organizations to advance racial justice, problem solving, community partnerships, and leadership development as core values in the civil justice community.
