General Assistance/Relief (GA/GR) is a state-mandated, county-funded benefit for persons who are not eligible for any other cash aid. Each county administers its program a little differently, and many counties throughout California are not in compliance with the law. This webinar is designed to give you practical tips for reviewing a County’s GA/GR regulations, as well as strategies for improving the County’s program. Our goal is to conduct a review of all of the counties’ rules so we can develop a statewide picture of how the program is working for persons throughout California.
