DETAILS

New changes to the CalWORKs Stage One Child Care program provides for immediate and stable child care for all families enrolled in CalWORKs. As of October 1, families can get 12 months of uninterrupted, full-time care. Child care must be located before they have to attend any required activities. They will get child care if they go to work, participate in welfare-to work, or a broad range of activities needed for family stability, including counseling, housing search, court and medical appointments. Come learn about how to maximize opportunity and family well-being through newly expanded access to CalWORKs child care.
