Do you work with low income older adults who receive medical bills they simply can’t afford? Whether it’s co-pays or more, the costs begin to add up. For a population that is largely on a limited and fixed income, many of these charges are illegal and may violate state and federal laws. This one hour presentation will cover the basics of improper billing for older adults in California, review the relevant legal authorities, and give practical tips on what to do when a client is fighting an improper bill.
1 hour general CLE credit.
