Providing legal services to individuals who experience violence, poverty and disaster requires frequent exposure to traumatic material. The emotional and psychological impact of this exposure is known as vicarious trauma. In this webinar, participants will learn 1) the causes and symptoms of vicarious/secondary trauma and (2) positive coping strategies to minimize risk and strengthen resilience.
