Kern County school have been adjusting to new rules and policies for transgender students. ABC23 interviewed student Ryan Stone, his parent, and attorney Lillian Marshall-Bass of California Rural Legal Assistance.

“A good rule of thumb for schools is that they should be treating transgender boys like all other boys and transgender girls just like all other girls,” said Marshall-Bass.
