SDVLP is seeking a full-time Staff Attorney to support our programs. Our work involves civil law matters impacting survivors of domestic violence, foster youth, low-income entrepreneurs, persons living with HIV/AIDS, and people experiencing homelessness. The Staff Attorney will provide legal advocacy in a variety of civil legal services cases. The Staff Attorney will also recruit, train, and mentor attorney volunteers to assist in providing legal services to clients.
Minimum qualifications include: admission to practice law in California and experience or interest in providing direct legal services to low-income individuals.
Salary range is $70,000 – $80,000 DOE. Medical, dental, vision, 401(K), and sick, annual leave, and holiday pay provided. SDVLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required unless a legal exemption applies. The position will be based at SDVLP’s main office in downtown San Diego and will require occasional travel to SDVLP’s other offices.
